Michael Paul Stephenson is an acclaimed filmmaker known for crowd-pleasing storytelling across Fiction and non-fiction genres.
His most recent documentary, Attack of The Murder Hornets is ranked by Indiewire as one of the best shows on Discovery+. Michael made his feature narrative debut with Girlfriend’s Day. A Netflix Original Movie, starring Bob Odenkirk, that was ranked by New York Magazine and Vulture as one of Netflix’s best original movies.
Michael’s other documentaries include Best Worst Movie and The American Scream. Best Worst Movie was distributed in theaters across the America and was recognized by USA Today as one of the "Top 10 Films of The Year". The American Scream was named a “Critic’s Pick” by Entertainment Weekly upon premiering on television to more than 30 million viewers.
Michael is also known for branded storytelling that explores humanity found within complex worlds of technology and innovation. With acclaimed work that spans the globe, Michael’s honors include multiple awards on behalf of some of the largest organizations in the world.
